Recipe: My Favorite Gluten Free Pizza Recipe
A slice of heaven...
This is my favorite veggie pizza recipe for when I'm feeling like it's a pizza and root beer night! It's dairy free too! All the ingredients are as much as you like - so if you want more cheese, less sauce, more veggies, etc., it's all to your liking.
Julie's Favorite Gluten Free Pizza
INGREDIENTS:
Udi's Pizza Crust
Olive Oil
Garlic Salt
Shiitake Mushrooms (frozen)
Stoplight Peppers (frozen red, green and yellow strips)
Tomato Sauce
Veggie Shreds Soy Cheese (alternatives: Daiya or Rice Cheese)
Green Onion, chopped
Black Olives, canned/sliced
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375. Place crust on a baking sheet. Brush crust with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt. Saute mushrooms and peppers in a saute pan with a small amount of olive oil. (a teaspoon is plenty!) Remove from heat when veggies are just heated through. Set aside. Chop green onions and set aside, discarding white roots. Spoon tomato sauce onto crust. Add cheese. Add sauteed veggies. Top with olives and green onions. Bake 9-10 minutes.
For a crispier crust: Change oven temp to 425 and bake 8-9 minutes.
