My name is Julie and I love writing, reading and talking about food!  When I was told I was gluten intolerant shortly after my son was born, I was devastated.  I could not imagine a life without wheat.  So many of my favorite foods contained gluten!

After a few months of trial and error (and to this day over a decade later I still have a slip up or two thanks to sneaky hidden gluten) I finally got to a point where I was happy with my new dietary selections, and the new products just keep coming.

I write reviews on as many brands as I can get my hands on.  Some are wonderful, some not so pleasant, but that doesn't mean they don't listen and try to make adjustments!  Connecting with others in the gluten free community is essential when getting started with this lifestyle, and though it is difficult, it is not impossible to make the switch.  And once you find your favorite "staples" again, you might be surprised with the results!
